First Church (Charlestown, Boston, Mass.) photographs, 1896-1957.

Photographs of First Church (Charlestown, Boston, Mass.), a Congregational and later Unitarian church, and Winthrop Church (Charlestown, Boston, Mass.). (The First Church of Charlestown and the Winthrop Church merged in 1913). One cyanotype depicts Winthrop Church at its location on Green Street in Charlestown in 1896, taken by an unidentified photographer. There are also fourteen snapshot photographs that depict the fire at the First Church building on Green Street on Jan. 12, 1957 and its aftermath; the photographers are unknown.
